Halima attended the University of Ilorin and Nigerian Law School after which she was admitted to the Nigerian Bar.

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Mediators of Nigeria and she advises and represents clients in corporate and commercial law, intellectual property law, dispute resolution among others.
